- 2 tbs mulling spice
- 3 pears (Forelle or any small-size pears), peeled
- 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
- ½ cup baking chocolate droplets (or shavings)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp honey
Directions
- Fit pears snugly in pot and fill with water just enough to cover all 3
- Add mulling spice and lemon juice to the pot on medium heat
- At boiling point, turn heat down to low and let simmer for another 15 minutes
- Place chocolate droplets in a microwavable bowl and pop in the microwave for 1 minute
- Heat heavy cream and honey on a sauce pan and bring it to a strong simmer
- Stir in melted chocolate and set aside to cool for 10 minutes. Whisk the mixture slowly until smooth
- Drizzle warm chocolate sauce over the pears and indulge :)
